Privacy Notice
Last updated: October 22, 2026
This notice explains, in plain language, what personal information this website handles and why. The website is small: it has an inquiry form, optional analytics, and no user accounts.
Who we are
This website is operated by OPTIVIZDATA Inc. (“OPTIVIZDATA”, “we”, “us”), an AI development company based in Ontario, Canada. You can contact us about privacy at info@optivizdata.com. We do not publish a phone number or street address on this website.
Information you give us
The OptivizVision public preview is a separate application. Its image uploads, processing and retention are described in the OptivizVision trial data notice.
If you use the inquiry form on the Contact page, we receive what you enter:
- Your full name and email address
- Your company or organization, if you provide it
- The project type and project summary
- Your budget range and desired timeline, if you provide them
- Your confirmation that you consent to us using these details to respond
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include. Please don't send passwords, confidential business documents, or sensitive personal information through the form or by email.
Technical information
Like most websites, our hosting provider may process basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested, and the date and time. This is used to deliver the website, keep it secure, and diagnose problems.
Analytics and cookies (optional)
This website can use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to measure how it is used. These are optional and off by default. Nothing is requested from Google and no analytics cookies are set unless you choose “Accept analytics” in the notice on the website. If you choose “Reject analytics”, or have not chosen, analytics stays off.
Why we do this: to measure aggregated website usage, such as which pages are viewed, and to improve the website.
If you accept, the website loads Google Tag Manager, which we use to run Google Analytics. Google may then process information such as:
- Browser and device information
- The pages you view
- Referral information (how you arrived at the website)
- Approximate location, derived by the provider
- Interaction events on the website
- Cookies or similar identifiers stored in your browser, such as cookies whose names start with _ga
No advertising. The website does not currently use advertising trackers. Its consent settings keep advertising storage, ad personalization, and advertising user data denied at all times, and it does not authorize Google Ads or remarketing.
Google may process analytics information outside Canada, including in the United States. See Google's Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab) and how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services (opens in a new tab). Because analytics data can relate to a browser or device, we do not describe it as anonymous.
How long Google keeps analytics data depends on the retention settings configured on our Google Analytics property and the company's documented settings. This notice does not state a fixed period.
Changing or withdrawing your choice. Use “Analytics preferences” in the footer of any page to change your choice at any time. Withdrawing consent stops future analytics measurement from your browser, and the website removes the Google Analytics cookies it is able to remove. If analytics was already running on the page you are viewing, that page refreshes (keeping its address) so the analytics code stops running. Withdrawing consent does not delete information that has already been collected and aggregated.
Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage for this website (your choice and a version number). It is not sent to us. If you clear this website's stored data, the notice appears again. If your browser blocks local storage, your choice applies only to your current visit and the notice may appear again.
How we use inquiry information
We use the information you submit to:
- Respond to your inquiry
- Assess whether we can help and discuss possible projects with you
- Maintain reasonable business records
- Meet our legal obligations
Service providers
We use a limited number of service providers to run the website and handle inquiries:
- Our website hosting provider, which serves the website and may process the technical information described above.
- Formspree (formspree.io), a form-processing service. It receives what you submit through the inquiry form and delivers it to us. Its handling of your information is described in Formspree's privacy policy (opens in a new tab).
- Google (Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics), only if you accept analytics. See “Analytics and cookies (optional)” above.
Service providers may process information in other countries, including the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in Canada.
Sharing and sale of information
We do not currently sell personal information. We share it only with the service providers described above or when the law requires it.
How long we keep information
We keep inquiry information only as long as reasonably needed to respond to you, maintain our business records, and meet legal obligations. After that we delete it or remove identifying details.
Your choices and requests
You can ask to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing info@optivizdata.com. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we may be unable to delete information we are required to keep.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we handle. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This website is intended for businesses and adults, not for children.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as the website changes. The “Last updated” date above shows when it last changed.
